Newsletters - the next step in communication

The Little Ship, our favourite journal, goes from strength to strength, the website is rejuvenated, now come the newsletters. They're the third leg of the communication stool, and another one starts next week.
We've had the three weekly Bulletin, designed to make website links easy, for many months now, and lots of members have welcomed the one-click access to topical stories and events on the club website. Now, in the last month, Iain Muspratt has launched the South Coast newsletter to south coast skippers and boat-owners, and Pat Dittner as chair of the Social committee sent Shoreside to all members with news of forthcoming social and club night events. Issue 2 of South Coast and Shoreside will come out next week, and Pat with her other hat as VC East Coast will be launching the East Coast newsletter.
The newsletters will have links to the club website for event booking and further details of stories, but they'll have more description and so be more self-contained than the Bulletin. So even if you don't regularly log on to the website, you should get to know what's going on. The South and East newsletters will be sent to all members, so you can choose whether to stay subscribed to both (to keep in touch with all the UK sailing news) or only one if you're only interested in one sailing area. You can unsubscribe or resubscribe any time to any email communication by clicking Your Account at the top of the page, or click this link.
Of course all this only works if the club has a record of a working email address for you. If you haven't been receiving the Bulletin every three weeks, or you didn't get the recent Shoreside newsletter or other email communications from the club in the last few weeks, please let us know by emailing webeditor@littleshipclub.co.uk Also please check that your computer or your internet provider isn't rejecting emails from the club as spam!
