Sailors Society

On 29 June, teams will be competing on 68 ft Clipper Round-The-World yachts in the Solent in the first Sailors Society Regatta. Companies can take this chance of a unique and memorable team building day while supporting this international maritime charity.

Setting sail from Portsmouth, the yachts will navigate their way through a set of courses competing against other teams, many from the shipping industry. The day onboard will include breakfast and lunch followed by a three course onshore dinner with winners’ presentation. Guests will be trained by Clipper professional crew in the morning before racing starts in the afternoon.

Yachts are priced at £6000, giving companies an excellent opportunity for team building and networking, as well as entertaining clients with a unique and memorable sailing experience, while supporting a great cause.

The Sailors’ Society is an international charity that provides a personal lifeline for seafarers throughout the world. Existing to enrich and enhance the well-being of the world’s 1.2 million seafarers, the charity offers practical help, emotional and spiritual support and, when in dire need, financial assistance and family liaison through our Port Chaplains and Seafarers’ Centres. The society's Port Chaplains visit thousands of ships every year, directly addressing the needs of seafarers - irrespective of a person’s belief or nationality - as well as maintaining vital links within the Ports that they operate.
