Polly Agatha skippered by Kim Hartley, in the RTIR TH Martinez/Sea&Co/onEdition

It was a blustery day with reports of gusts up to 30 knots off St Catherine's and big seas having built up in the previous week's bad weather. Out of the ten Little Ship Club boats entered for the Round the Island Race, three retired or did not complete.

Jof Buttery skippering Grey Goose broke a finger and was forced out of the race. Ce'Aire skippered by Guy Kingsbury also retired. Michael de Villiers, skipper of Delphinius did not complete the course.

There was only one LSC boat in IRC classes, Charles Whittam's X-34 Juno, who completed in 08.14.59 on corrected time.
