Ocean Village

The first Fast Cruise for this winter will take place on Saturday 15 October and will join with the Frostbite Rally at the Royal Southampton YC, Ocean Village in the evening.

A three course dinner has been arranged and should be booked by the 7 October The RSYC will also provide breakfast if required. The cost of the meal is £31 or £30 if booked on line. Further information and to book is here. The dress code for Fast Cruisers is smart casual.

The start will be to the east of the forts between Cambrian Wreck SCM and Horse Elbow green buoy. The starting time will be announced shortly. It is intended this year that all yachts with an LSC rating of less than 0.900 will sail a shorter course than the faster boats. Overall finishing positions will be decided on corrected speed = (elapsed time x rating)/rhumb line distance sailed. Further information will be available shortly
