The Mayflower

November's Fast Cruise on the 17th November will go to Lymington with dinner arranged at the Mayflower Inn and berthing at Berthon Marina. HW Portsmouth is 1325 (4.9m) with the tide in the western Solent flowing westwards from about 1230. On Sunday HW Portsmouth is 1414 (4.7m) with an easterly tide until about 1215.

There will only be one Fast Cruise this weekend which will be a passage cruise down the western Solent. The course will be announced on the club website by lunchtime on the 16th November with the starting area, probably in the mid eastern Solent area, announced on Thursday. This year we are intending to make the first leg a beat to windward and so you should expect the start area to be to leeward. For example a northerly wind would mean the starting area will be on the Island side of the Solent.

All boats taking part will need a club handicap. If you haven't received one yet please fill in the form, available here, and return to hc@littleshipclub.co.uk before the 10th November to allow time for the handicap to be issued.

This year, fees will be collected during the registration which will be available shortly.
