At least one more LSC member is required on board Reminder, a Thames Barge taking part in the August Bank Holiday weekend Barge Racing on the East Coast.

A special rate of £285 per person has been negotiated for the Little Ship Club, with a minimum of six persons on board. We currently have five signed up and need at least one more for the trip to be viable.

The sailing trip starts in Maldon on the evening of Friday 23 August, leaving early Saturday 24 August to head through the Swatchways to anchor near Southend Pier that evening.

Reminder will be taking part in the Barge Race on Sunday 25 August, with a return to Maldon on Monday 26 August reaching her home berth at around 16.30.

The trip cannot take place without at least one more LSC member, but there is room for more and the price per head will be adjusted down accordingly.

The arrangement is to be partly self-catering during the weekend with Top Sail Charters providing food and victualls for race day and the rest of the trip. Provisioning will be done in advance by one of the LSC organisers.

Whilst paying guests are welcome to be involved with the sailing, there is no obligation as Reminder has a full crew on board.
