Thames Trafalgar Race 2015

The Thames Trafalgar Race 2015 takes place on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October. This unique race on the capital's river, organised jointly by the Little Ship Club and Erith Yacht Club, was founded by Sir Robin Knox-Johnston in 2013 and celebrates the Battle of Trafalgar. Starting just below Tower Bridge, the race goes downriver to the Queen Elizabeth Bridge and a Trafalgar Dinner on the Saturday evening at Erith. The return leg finishes off Greenwich Naval College on the Sunday.
With a special berthing deal at St Katharine Docks which allows race boats to stay for a period spanning three weekends (including the race weekend) for just £100, sailors will be able to take in the sights of London, the Thames Festival and the Classic Boat Festival before joining the race.
