Gunwharf Quays Marina

The course has now been posted. See the sidebar and separate page for details. We will be going to the Loch Fyne Restaurant in Gunwharf Quays for the post-rally meal. We'll be gathering from 7.30pm for drinks and aiming to sit down to dinner for c.8.00pm. Full details of the menu are now available.

Dining: We will be choosing from a party menu. You will be able to make your selections on the night, but you will need to decide in advance (and pay accordingly) whether you would like 2 or 3 courses. You will also need to notify us (and pay) in advance should you wish to add the 1/2 lobster option to the Aberdeen Angus burger. See below and pdf attachment for the choices on the party menu.

Cost: The usual £5 per head rally registration fee will apply, so you will be asked to pay either £28.50 for 2 courses or £31.50 for 3 courses (inclusive of rally fee, dinner and restaurant service charge).

Berthing: A number of berths have been booked at Gunwharf Quays Marina. Please do let the organisers know as soon as possible if you are planning to attend and require a space.

Booking Deadline: The online registration will close at midnight on Friday, 12 January  so please do sign up as soon as possible to assist with the organisation of the event.

Starters:

Prawn cocktail - selection of prawns, Marie Rose sauce, granary bread

Loch Fyne fish soup - aioli, shaved Gruyère, chargrilled granary bread

Salt & pepper squid - sesame seeds, chilli jam

Warm flaked British ham salad - heritage potatoes, soft-boiled egg, mustard dressing

Baked goat's cheese crottin (v) - pickled & roasted beetroots, chervil, filo pastry

Scottish rope-grown mussels - white, wine, cream & garlic, white bloomer

Mains:

Grilled cod rarebit - cauliflower purée, puy lentils, bacon vinaigrette

King prawn Malabar curry - pollock, spinach, basmati rice

Line-caught yellow fin tuna steak - grilled, pan-fried or steamed with your choice of sauce and two side orders - ask server for more details

Aberdeen Angus chargrilled burger - seeded brioche bun, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, gherkin, dill mayonnaise

(Add 1/2 lobster £14)

Spelt risotto* (v) - roasted Portobello mushroom

Scottish rope-grown mussels - white, wine, cream & garlic, white bloomer, french fries

Desserts:

Loch Fyne tiramisu* (v) - Chocolate shavings
