Cowes Spring Classics Regatta
The Cowes Spring Regatta is dedicated to classic wooden boats designed before 1970.
Racing Timetable
The racing will be organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club with two races on Saturday 18 May and two races on Sunday 19 May.
The Shoreside Scene
All yachts will be berthed at Shepards Marina and the Sugar Store will be the focus for the shoreside activities, with a Crew BBQ on the Friday evening and an Evening Dinner on Saturday evening. The Prize Giving will take place after racing on Sunday.
Regatta Ratings
Competitors may chose the handicap system they race under. The intention is for Cruisers & Cruiser Racers, Metre Yachts and Modern Spirit of Tradition Yachts to race to IRC Handicaps. Affordable Classic Cruisers and Day Boats under KLR handicaps. Gaff Rigged Yachts and Pilot Cutters according to OGA Handicaps.
