Payment It is Club policy that all events must be paid in full before they take place. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings and the balance payable 14 days before the event takes place. Bookings made at short notice, ie within two weeks prior to the date of the event, will require settlement in full at the time of booking. VAT will be applied to all hirings. The Club does not pay commission to any person or organisation booking an event.

Numbers of Attendees Provisional minimum and maximum numbers are to be given at the time of booking. The Club retains the right to move the function to an alternative room should numbers fall below the minimum number advised. Final numbers to be catered and charged for are to be given in full 48 hours before the event. Maximum numbers should not exceed Fire Regulations.

Timings Access and exit times to be given at the time of booking and confirmed. Extra charges will be incurred if these timings are exceeded. Signage/Decorations All hirers signage and display material must not obstruct fire evacuation signs. Decorations may be permitted by prior arrangement using blu-tack only, no drawing pins, sellotape etc, are to be used on the walls or ceilings. Cleaning and/or repair to any marks, stains or damage will be charged to the client.

Member bookings Members are eligible for a 25% discount on advertised room hire rates. All functions booked by a member of the Club guarantee both the credit worthiness and conduct of guests at the event.

Clients Property The Club reserves the right to dispose of any items left by the client after the event if no agreement for its storage and collection has been made.

Dress Code The Club has a smart casual dress code, no jeans, T-shirts or trainers are allowed. The Club reserves the right to refuse entry to any person considered unsuitably dressed.

Mobile Telephones Mobile telephones are not permitted in the Clubroom and Dining Room during daytime events Monday to Friday. If it is necessary to use a mobile telephone, please do so in the Reception area of the Club where members and their guests will not be disturbed.

Termination The Club reserves the right to terminate the booking in the event of Insolvency/Winding up.

Force Majeure The Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the client for failing to provide the room/s for use for reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Club ie fire, explosion, evacuation, emergency, war, Act of God.
