The Wave On A Winning Streak, Day 3, Trapani
Tables turn in Trapani at Act 6 of the Extreme Sailing Series as The Wave, Muscat claim 4 race wins and push Alinghi off the top of the leaderboard going into the penultimate day. Only Ben Ainslie on Oman Air and Roman Hagara on Red Bull Extreme Sailing Series could break Leigh McMillan's winning streak. Ben Ainslie and his team thrived in the close combat stadium racing, coming into contact with Luna Rossa in a scrap to the finish line.
Artemis Racing dominates seeding
For the second day running, Artemis Racing won two of the three heats at the Plymouth Match Racing Championship.
With a second place to add to their two victories on Thursday, Terry Hutchinson’s team dominated the seeding fleet race phase of the Match Racing Championships.

Dee Caffari awarded high naval honour
Dee Caffari MBE has been appointed by the Royal Navy as an Honorary Commander in recognition of her service to the sea and Britain's maritime heritage.
One of Britain's most inspirational women, Dee Caffari, who set her third world record earlier this year by sailing non-stop around the planet more times than any other woman in history, now joins the likes of adventurer Bear Grylls and fellow British yachtswoman Dame Ellen McArthur who have both received similar naval distinctions.

Lighter breezes brought more players to the front of the fleet on day one of the Plymouth Match Racing Championship, with Artemis Racing winning two of today’s three fleet races. With the sun beaming down on Plymouth Sound, the crowd on the Hoe was treated to a day of upsets, passing moves, and come-from-behind wins on the waters below.
Jean-Pierre Dick Announces Extreme 40 Team
The Mediterranean is the focus for the Extreme Mailing SeriesTM over the next couple of weeks, with Act 6 starting tomorrow in Trapani on the island of Sicily quickly followed by Act 7 in Nice on the south coast of France.

An epic day of racing at the America’s Cup World Series in Plymouth
Three capsizes tell the story of an epic final race in the Plymouth AC Preliminaries with winds gusting close to 30 knots (35 mph; 55 kph) across Plymouth Sound. Visitors to this year's PSP Southampton Boat Show will be able to witness a fresh new attraction, in the form of Tornado speed sailing.

Sicily with its pertinent strapline of ‘Sailing Seacily’ will play host to the Extreme Sailing Series for the second consecutive year and expectations are high: “I think it will be a very windy event, having seen how it was last year and that is what we expect this year. America's Cup World Series Lands in Plymouth September 10-18
Probably GB's most significant regatta this year will start Sptember 10 in one of England's most historic and celebrated maritime ports, Plymouth. The America's Cup World Series will be staged in front of crowds on the world-famous Plymouth Hoe in the now familiar AC45 catamarans. The regatta promises plenty of action.

Capsize - Green Comm Racing goes over in Plymouth
Green Comm Racing capsized its AC45 on Monday in Plymouth during its first training sail. There were no injuries to the crew and the boat suffered what appears to be only minor damage to the top of the wing.
