On a bitterly cold but crisp Tuesday 7 December members and friends gathered early at the Club for fortification at the bar before heading across the road to St Michaels, Paternoster Royal for the annual Carol Service.

Killer Shrimp, first found in the UK at Grafton Water, have now been identified at two new locations in Wales. The RYA have released information and advice about how to miminise the spread of this alien invader species. The advice is mainly aimed at freshwater dinghy and day sailing clubs, but we should all be vigilant.

Monsoon Cup Quarter Finalists decided

On day 3 of the Monsoon Cup, the final event of the 2010 ISAF World Match Racing Tour, the World Championship was still wide open. Tension was high as this was a make or break day for several of the World Championship contenders. A 12-15 knot northerly breeze greeted competitors, with one knot of current running down the Terengganu River.
