Skippers and Crew, what we do

The Skippers and Crew service for Club members aims to help skippers find crew and crew find skippers to sail with. When you're at the Club, find one of the team to help you get sailing (if you're crew) or to get your boat off the pontoon (if you're a skipper).

Charles Stock, East Coast sailor

It is with regret that we learned of the death on 19 September 2012 of Charles Stock, a notable East Coast sailor who gave a talk at the Club some years ago.

The Little Ship Club has created a new navigation trophy, the 'Norman Hummerstone Trophy', to be awarded each year to a skipper who has completed a passage of at least 2,500 miles using predominantly traditional navigational techniques, in the opinion of the awarding panel.
